REMOVE jewelry prior to swimming, bathing and doing sports or other physical activity.

AVOID silver dips, polishing liquids, ultrasonic cleaning and strong chemicals.

Cleaning

The cleaning instructions describe and outline care for all our jewelry and collections. Follow our general care instructions on all of your jewelry metals and its embellishments.

Metals & Stones

Sterling silver, oxidized sterling silver, 14k gold-plated and 14k rose gold-plated, Natural stones, gemstones, synthetic stones, man-made stones:

Clean with a soft brush and soapy water. Simply add a small amount of mild soap to lukewarm water and use a soft toothbrush to brush the jewelry gently in a circular motion. Toothbrushes are ideal for cleaning jewelry with patterns. If the dirt is hard to remove, soak the jewelry in the soapy water for 5-10 minutes.

Plated Jewelry

For a safe and easy cleaning and maintenance option, we recommend our FREE polishing cloth after every use. Clean your plated jewelry with a cotton ball or a very soft cloth to remove any dust and dirt it has acquired. Gently rubbing the surface of your gold plated jewelry using a soft jewelry cloth also helps restore shine. If your jewelry needs more cleaning you may clean it with warm, soapy water.

Plated jewelry can last up two years with proper care and maintenance. Gold-plated and rose gold-plated jewelry wears out over time and can flake off, exposing the 925 sterling silver base underneath. It also loses its luster and fades with time.

Freshwater Cultured Pearls & Mother of Pearl

Never soak freshwater cultured pearls in water or rub them harshly as this could damage the nacre. Instead, wipe them over with a very soft, clean cloth that has been dampened in lukewarm soapy water. Then pat dry. Follow these steps for mother of pearl. Wearing pearls and mother of pearl is one of the best ways of caring for it, as contact with natural skin oils help maintain the luster of the gem.

Synthetic Pearls

If a synthetic pearl is a little dusty, clean it gently or wipe it with a lint-free cotton cloth that has been dampened in lukewarm soapy water, then pat it dry with a clean, dry cloth.

Glass

For daily care, polish the glass with a soft gently wipe or with a soft lint-free cloth dampened with lukewarm water that has a small amount of liquid soap dissolved in it. Wipe the glass again with water (without soap) then pat it dry with a soft cloth. You can also use a small amount of mineral oil at the end to create extra radiance.

Matte Brilliance

The unique surface effect on Matte Brilliance jewelry requires more frequent cleaning as dirt can gather in the recessed areas over time.

Uniqueness Factors

In some of our unique pieces with natural stones, can be a small variations in the design, color and size, small glass bubbles and the handcrafted details inside the glass. These variations showcase the high level of craftsmanship that brings each design to life.

Oxidized & Plated Metals (Oxidized Sterling Silver)

Oxidation and plating on metal does naturally fade over time – this is normal wear and tear, not a defect – but how quickly this happens is down to how you look after your jewelry. Sweat, chlorine, perfumes, and cleaning agents like liquid silver polish or dip can all cause oxidation to fade faster. The best thing to do is follow our protection and cleaning instructions.
